CODE OF CONDUCT

1.The Code of Conduct. We comply with the appropriate rules and room for manoeuvre when dealing with our customers and employees. We ensure that our employees act with integrity and ethical correctness, but also on their own responsibility. Our recommendations are also aimed at our business partners and suppliers. The Code of Conduct not only protects us legally, but also maintains the good reputation of our company. For violations of any kind of this Code, we provide recommendations on how employees who observe a disregard of the compliance rules and compliance guidelines should behave. Of course, we also point out the consequences of misconduct.

2.Compliance rules and guidelines in IT: from data protection and information security to payroll accountingAlmost all digitalised companies today work with data. If customer data is stored and processed, strict compliance rules and compliance guidelines apply to data protection, for example how it must be protected after storage, how it may be used and whether it may be passed on. Therefore, all companies that store customer data must also address the issue of security. In this way, they can prevent the data from falling into the wrong hands through hacker attacks, for example. Care must be taken in this area, as otherwise, in addition to the damage caused by the attack, there is also the threat of fines and claims for damages from the harmed customers. It should also be noted that IT compliance can vary from sector to sector.

Payroll accounting requires particularly sensitive personal data such as address, date of birth and religious affiliation – data protection is correspondingly important here. As an employer, we must ensure that the data does not fall into the wrong hands. We comply with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) in every process.

3.Equality and promotion of diversity through compliance. For us, compliance does not necessarily only mean restrictions, but also ensures diversity within the company. We ensure that equality stands in the foreground. We are against discrimination and harassment in the workplace and at the same time promote diversity. We guarantee that no applicant or employee is discriminated against on the basis of origin, gender, religion, age or sexual orientation. For our part, this is also a commitment to open awareness, an open culture and a role model for the entire workforce without restrictions or bullying in any form.

4.Health and safety in the workplace. Occupational health and safety is at the forefront of our duty of care. We want to promote the health of our employees and prevent accidents in the workplace. We have defined responsibilities and duties to ensure safety in the workplace. These guidelines apply to all our work locations in addition to the customer specifications.  In this context, regular education and further training of the workforce is no matter of discussion for us.

5. Compliance in communication. Unfortunately, we cannot avoid compliance requirements in our everyday use of smartphones and social media. On one hand, we present ourselves on social media, and on the other, employees and third parties react to content on social networks. We distance ourselves from all racist comments and any form of violence, racism and ethnocentrism, nationalism, anti-Semitism, social Darwinism and pro-Nazism. Bullying on social media is an absolute No Go for us.
